Itinerary 
Day 1: Paro to Thimphu (1.5-hour drive)

Arrival & Welcome

Start your journey in Bhutan with a warm welcome at the airport by your tour guide, who will be holding a sign that says " Adventures Journey."

After a relaxing lunch, visit Ta Dzong, a museum with a fascinating collection of ancient thangka paintings, textiles, weapons, and other artifacts that showcase Bhutan's rich cultural heritage.

Enjoy an early lunch to keep your energy up for the day.

Embark on a 1.5-hour easy hike along the Zurik Trail, offering stunning views of Paro Dzong, the airport, and the Paro valley.After the hike, take a scenic drive to Thimphu, following the beautiful Paa Chhu river.

Day 2: Thimphu - Casual Hike Around Thimphu (Easy)

After breakfast, visit the giant Buddha Dordenma statue at Kuenselphodrang, where you can explore the statue’s interior filled with smaller replicas and enjoy panoramic views of Thimphu valley.

Explore the streets of Thimphu, try on traditional Bhutanese attire, visit the Weaving Center, the main post office, or the busy vegetable market.

Visit the Takin Preservation Center to see Bhutan's national animal, the Takin, followed by a short, leisurely hike to Wangduetse Temple through blue pine forests and oak trees.

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (2.5-hour drive)

Journey to Punakha Over the Mountain Pass

Leave Thimphu and drive to Punakha, a scenic 2.5-hour journey.Stop at Dochu La Pass to see the 108 stupas and, on clear days, breathtaking views of the eastern Himalayas.

Visit Chimi Lhakhang, a monastery dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley, known as the "divine madman," reached by a pleasant 30-minute walk through rice fields.

Have lunch in Punakha.

Visit the grand Punakha Dzong, a fortress at the confluence of two rivers, known for its beautiful architecture.Explore the area around the dzong and cross the nearby suspension bridge for a bit of adventure.

Day 4: Punakha to Phobjikha (2.5-hour drive)

Visit Gangtey Monastery & Nature Trail Hike (Easy)

Drive east to the beautiful Gangtey Valley, also known as Phobjikha Valley, a place of cultural significance and home to the black-necked cranes.

Visit Gangtey Monastery, a 17th-century marvel, where you can interact with monks and enjoy panoramic views of the valley.In the afternoon, take a relaxed 2-hour hike along the Gangtey nature trail, experiencing the valley's natural beauty up close.

Overnight: Phobjikha

Day 5: Phobjikha to Paro (5-hour drive)

Leisurely Drive Back to Paro with a Hot Stone Bath

Start the day early for the drive back to Paro, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Stop briefly at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Lampelri.

Spend the afternoon exploring Paro town, known for its traditional jewelry, handicrafts, and cozy cafes.End the day with a relaxing hot stone bath and a delicious Bhutanese dinner at Kichu Farm House.

Day 6: Paro Taktsang Hike (5-6-hour round trip)

After breakfast, prepare for a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as the "Tiger's Nest," perched on a cliffside.For those who prefer, there's an option to skip the temple visit and hike to a viewpoint above the Tiger's Nest for a better view.Explore the monastery, which holds a significant place in Bhutanese history and legend.

After the hike, enjoy lunch at the Taktsang cafeteria with stunning views of the monastery.Spend the rest of the day exploring Paro town and shopping for souvenirs.

Day 7: Departure

Enjoy free time in the morning before heading to the airport for your departure.

Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, for a final blessing.After a farewell meal, gradually make your way to the airport.
